Jeevan Aasara
This project
provides Mediclaim to affected children of HIV+ve parents. Insurance
is drawn for 150 children from National Insurance Company. In this
scheme any of relative of that kid is made his foster parent wherein
there is no financial burden on that relative. They can just help in
the upbringing of that child as the money involved for his education
and other expenses is given by the Care Foundation of Yuvak
Pratishthan. Thus Educational and Financial Support is been given to
him/her. Regular Medical checkup is done for these children. Play
Therapy for the child's positive development is conducted. Drawing
Competition was held for these children & after doing the analysis of
their Drawings and Colours, a psychological report of the child was
generated. This eventually helped the organisers in knowing the mind
probe of a child and ways and means of dealing with him/her.
Activities of 'JEEVAN AASARA' Project is as follow: |

To provide the
children of positive parents with a piggy bank and ask them to save a
little amount of money everyday. |

Their savings are
than put in a postal fixed deposit scheme called as 'Kisan Vikas
Patra' They get this savings back with yearly interval for every year
till they reach the age of 18years. |

To motivate them to
save money. The 1st premium of the mediclaim i.e.234/- is paid by
Yuvak Pratishthan. |

These children are also provided with
Educational Support in which we give them notebooks and text books. |

by play therapy. |

We also teach Yoga to the positive
mothers which helps them to increase their immunity power. |

It is an
Income Generation Activity for HIV+ve women to help them in achieving
economic emancipation. Economical Independence is of prior importance in
today's world. The concept of being independent is not seen in the slum
areas where women accepts and reacts according to their husbands. But
more unfortunate are those who don't have any backhand or support or
those who are suffering from any disease.

Jeevan Amaritya
Its a new
research project to search the growing ratio of deaths amongst youngster.
So it can be also termed as 'Young Death Survey'. Analysis is done with
help of Bombay Municiple Corporation of the causes of increasing death.
Coroner Courts
Helpline
for Coroner Courts for accidental cases is provided. Since the Post
Mortem of the dead is compulsory and the conditions of the Post Mortem
Theaters are in a very bad shape, Yuvak Pratishthan helps to minimise the
duration of Post Mortem if the relative of the dead makes a contact with
the help line.

The poor citizens
need trustworthy advice (counseling) on matters of Health and its not
assured that the doctors will do this all the time. Hence, for the
poor citizens a scheme was established at 10 places to set up a
Counsel Centre on Health and Life.
